Jenner is a German-born photographer and author who is involved in publishing and exhibiting his decades long work in Germany, India and New Zealand. His focus lies on the many facets of the cultural, religious and everyday activities of people, which he depicts in photo essays with a poetic narrative. An important part of his work are biographies of historic and present day personalities – captured in photos and stories, audiovisual presentations or on film. He also showcases landscapes, nature studies and architecture.
He produced seven books, five photo/ text calendars, two documentary films and several audiovisual/ multimedia presentations for exhibitions. His work was featured in many exhibitions, repeatedly organised by the worldwide network of the Goethe-Institut. Jenner writes the text sections of his publications and also works as speaker, photography lecturer, book editor and exhibition curator.
